Cooper Union Summer Stem

Digital Electronics For Inventors

6.jpeg

During the summer of 2018, I participated in a summer STEM program called “Digital Electronics for the Inventor” hosted by Cooper Union. Through this program, I learned the basics of utilizing digital circuits and various logic gates to create meaningful products. By working on a collaborative project with two other students to create a four-function calculator with simple breadboards, logic gate chips, and wires, I learned not only the fundamentals of digital electronics but also the importance of teamwork. My summer at Cooper Union solidified my aspiration to become a design engineer and taught me how to effectively communicate ideas and connect with the audience.

By working together with international friends, I gained a meaningful experience at Cooper Union. I was surprised to see how much I learned and improve every week and is thankful for friends who helped and supported throughout the six weeks journey. I was able to grow not only as an engineer but as a leader and a teammate.
